Visiting an arctic landscape and seeing the "big ice" is something that I've longed to do since I was a young child. Where I once thought I had to go to Antarctica to fulfill this dream, I became aware of a distinctly unique area in Eastern Greenland, a place unlike any other on earth. I was fortunate enough to have an opportunity to explore this area in the summer of 2024 and this book chronicles that experience as we sailed on a 70-year old wooden two-masted wooden sailboat through the waters of Scoresby Sund.
