I just wrote a recent post about how I create a book each year with the best of my images from the previous year. It’s a way for me to preserve and reflect on what I’ve accomplished, and, it’s a way for me to evaluate and learn from the year and strive to be better in the coming year. This past year I was fortunate enough to join Jack Graham on a trip to Katmai National Park to scout out a new photography workshop that he and I will be leading in 2018. Having always wanted to go and because we weren’t leading a group, I was free to shoot for myself, what I wanted and how much I wanted. I came home with a couple thousand frames! Since August I have been slowly working my way through the images to pull out the best for processing.
Because this was such a standout trip I felt it best to preserve the experience in a printed and electronic book that I can share with others as a compendium of my best images from the trip.
I’ve made the electronic book available for purchase for a nominal price. Check out the preview here: Photographing Bears in Katmai E-Book
If you’ve ever wanted to go, check out the information here: Photographing Bears in Katmai Alaska
Thats a nice idea and for everyone professional or not
Thank you Srijana. Yes, regardless of what kind of photographer you are, it’s such a nice thing to put a book together, something that’s not just in the digital ether.
