The latest video installment about the fantastic image editing software called Luminar 2018 from the Skylum company.   In this video, I highlight one small, yet key, filter that I use on every image I process…..the vignette filter.

Adding a slight, or stronger, vignette to an image can do wonders to direct the viewers eye to where you want them to look, or, can serve to highlight the subject and create separation from the background.    I use varying strengths of vignetting depending on the image and what my goals for the image are.
